Stay current by regularly checking for software updates, which often include important security patches and performance enhancements. Before downloading updates, ensure you’re connected to a reliable Wi-Fi or cellular network for a smooth experience.
- Drag down from the top of the screen with two fingers and tap the Settings icon.
- Scroll to and tap About.
- Tap Software information.
- The current Android version and Software number is displayed.
- To check for software updates, from the settings screen, scroll to and tap AT&T software update.
- Tap Check for updates.
- If an update is available, follow prompts to complete the update. Otherwise, tap OK.
