You can change your subscription in the Settings menu of the ActiveArmor app or use the Manage Plan and add-ons menu via myATT to get Safe Browsing, Public Wi-Fi Protection Identity Monitoring, Lost Wallet Recovery, ID Restoration, Password Manager, Caller ID and more.
If you want the subscription billed via your app store provider, you can upgrade in the subscription menu in the account management section. (Menus vary by OS)

Public Wi-Fi Protection creates a secure “private tunnel” that can auto-connect in places like cafes, and airports to hide your online activities such as banking, shopping, and email. The secure private tunnel is called a virtual private network (VPN).

If you don’t secure your Wi-Fi connection while doing online activities in locations like these, scammers can steal your information.*
The VPN encrypts the connection to conceal your data to prevent unauthorized access to what is on your phone.
You can set up in-app Wi-Fi alerts to let you know if you are exposed to a risky network or to confirm your connection is safe.

Why don’t you store my Master Password and what happens if I forget it?

The Master Password unlocks all your saved data in Password Manager. For security reasons, we don’t store it on our servers. If you forget your Master Password, you can use the Recovery Key to reset it.

How do I reset my Master Password if I forget it?

Accepted Answer

If you forget your Master Password, you can use the Recovery Key to reset it. This 24-digit key is given to you during the set-up process and works on both desktop and mobile devices. For security reasons, we cannot reset the Master Password for you. If you can't find your Recovery Key, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the app and then set up your Password Manager again.

Who can see my stored passwords?

Your privacy is our top priority. We do not store your Master Password on our servers, so we have no access to your account. All your passwords are deeply encrypted, and what we see is just a random mix of numbers and letters.

What would happen if the servers that support ActiveArmor have a security incident?

Accepted Answer

Every password is encrypted locally on your device before it ever reaches our servers. So, if hackers get into the system, they would only see random letters and numbers. Without your key to decipher them, your details remain safe.

Can I copy and paste passwords from the Password Manager into apps or websites?

Accepted Answer

No, you cannot. AT&T's Security and Privacy Policies do not allow copying and pasting passwords for AT&T apps. The Password Manager will automatically fill in your login details when you reach a login screen.
