For AT&T Prepaid phones purchased from att.com and have a physical SIM, it’s as easy as turning on your new phone. The SIM is already installed and ready to go. Yes, you can switch your wireless phone to an AT&T Prepaid plan. You will need to get an AT&T Prepaid SIM card or eSIM activation kit and open a new AT&T Prepaid account.

Choose the phone(s) you want. During checkout, you’ll have the opportunity to select the Progressive lease-to-own payment option. Once approved, you’ll be able to use a virtual payment card, provided by Progressive Leasing, to purchase your phone online.

Note that the minimum lease amount is $199.99 after discounts and promotions. A leasing cost will be added to the retail price for phones and accessories.
