To transfer your AT&T service to a new home, enter your address in the “Check Availability” feature at the top of this page to see if AT&T internet service is available at your new address. 

If available, you’ll have the option to transfer your internet service or select a new AT&T internet plan. We’ll also let you know if you can self-install internet service in your new home, or if a tech will need to come install your service. 

Lastly, you’ll schedule the disconnect from your current home and installation in your new home. It’s that simple

AT&T internet service is linked to the account holder and cannot be transferred. If a new resident wants to set up internet service, he/she can check availability for AT&T internet service and set up a new account.

If you’re moving and not currently an AT&T customer, you can check availability for AT&T internet service   and set up a new account. 

The terms “Wi-Fi” and “internet” are often used interchangeably. Wi-Fi connects devices within a limited range, like your home, while internet connects devices around the world through a network of servers, routers, etc. 

To transfer AT&T Wi-Fi service to a new house when you move, follow the same process as you would to transfer AT&T internet service. 

You should follow the process to transfer your internet service as outlined above. After we learn about your new and existing service needs, we will let you know what to do with your existing internet equipment.
