Stay current by regularly checking for software updates, which often include important security patches and performance enhancements. Before downloading updates, ensure you’re connected to a reliable Wi-Fi or cellular network for a smooth experience.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen, then tap the Settings icon.
- Under the General tab, tap About device.
- The Android version and the Baseband version will be displayed.
- To check for software updates, tap Software update.
- Tap Check for updates.
- Tap OK and follow the on-screen prompts to download and install any available updates.
