Stay current by regularly checking for software updates, which often include important security patches and performance enhancements. Before downloading updates, ensure you’re connected to a reliable Wi-Fi or cellular network for a smooth experience.
- Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Settings icon.
- Scoll to and tap About device.
- The device Android version and Baseband version will be displayed.
- To check for software updates, tap Software updates.
- Select Check for Updates.
- Tap OK.
- Tap OK if software is up to date, tap CONTINUE, if an update is available. Follow on-screen prompts to download and install any available updates.
