How to set up your device as a mobile hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices.

- Use your device as a mobile hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: other smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more.
Note: Eligible data plan required, learn more.
- From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar.
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Tap More.
- Tap Mobile network sharing.
- Tap the Mobile Hotspot switch to toggle Mobile network sharing on/off.
- If this is your first time enabling the Mobile Hotspot feature, you will automatically be taken to the Mobile Hotspot setup screen. Edit the Hotspot name and password if desired.
- If desired, scroll to then tap Advanced settings to configure network security and other advanced options.
- Tap NEXT.
- Tap DONE.
- To view connected devices, tap Manage users.
- While the Mobile Hotspot is active, the Mobile Hotspot icon will display in the Notifications bar.
