Once you sign in, you will see the upgrade options for each line on the account. You can then check the box&nbsp;Upgrade this device &gt; Upgrade.

If you&rsquo;re signed up for&nbsp;<a href="/plans/next-up-anytime/" target="_self">AT&amp;T Next Up Anytime</a>1, you can upgrade to the latest Samsung Galaxy phone (after making your first payment) without having to worry about the remaining balance of your installment plan, so long as you turn in your current phone. Every year, or once you&rsquo;ve paid off one-third of your phone&rsquo;s cost, you&rsquo;ll be eligible for our&nbsp;<a href="/deals/cell-phone-deals/" target="_self">smartphone deals</a>&nbsp;(maximum three upgrades in a 12-month period).

If you don&rsquo;t have an early upgrade program on your account and would like to upgrade your cell phone, you&rsquo;ll either need to pay off the remaining balance on your old phone at checkout or pay off your remaining balance ahead of time.
